The more a fabricator knows about your job, the faster and more accurate your price will be. You do not need a full engineering drawing. Here is what helps most.

1. What it is and what it does

One or two sentences are enough. For example: a stand to hold a 500 kg mixer, or a fuel tank for two generators.

2. A drawing or sketch with sizes

A clear hand sketch with length, width and height is fine. Mark any holes, bends or fixing points.

3. Photos with a tape measure

Photograph the space or the old part with a tape measure in the picture. This helps us check sizes and see how it will be fitted.

4. How many you need

One piece and fifty pieces are priced very differently, so tell us the quantity.

5. Material and finish

Say if you need mild steel, stainless or aluminium, and whether it should be painted, powder coated or galvanised. If you are not sure, tell us where it will be used and we will advise. Our guide to choosing the right metal can help.

6. Load and conditions

What weight will it carry? Will it be indoors, outdoors, near the sea, or in contact with food, water or chemicals?

7. Where it goes, and access

Give the location, and tell us if there are stairs, narrow gates or tight corners, or if it must be installed at height.

8. When you need it

A clear deadline helps us plan, and tells you straight away whether the timing works.

An example message

“We need 4 mild steel platforms, 2 m x 1.5 m, 1 m high, to hold machines of about 800 kg each. Painted. Indoor factory in Ikeja. Photos and a sketch attached. Needed in 3 weeks.”

Send yours to us on WhatsApp or through our contact page, and we will come back with a price and a timeline.
